It is with great pleasure that I wish to announce the appointment of Mr Dean Minchington to the position within Entello and the National Institute of Financial Studies (NIFS) of Chief Executive Officer.
We believe the core strengths of Entello and NIFS are their focus on client service, provision of timely, independent financial advice and our training programs designed to ensure you understand investment fundamentals.
We see the introduction of a CEO to the organisation as integral to building on these strengths, ensuring the Entello business is actively managed on a day to day basis, with a keen eye on staff performance, organisational efficiency, quality service provision and the implementation of a strategic plan to ensure that the culture and values of the companies remain available to guide our own future outcomes and those of our children.
Dean first came to our organisation some months ago as a management and training consultant with over two decades of experience. We recognised the value Dean could add to our company and its clients long-term and this happily coincided with Dean’s own desire to become more fully involved in what he saw as an exciting company.
Prior to joining our team he held the role of Chief Operating Officer – Commercial for CareFlight Queensland where he was responsible for strategic planning, organisation management, compliance, budgeting and marketing.
These skills and his demonstrated community interests, combined with his prior experience in business development, make him a perfect fit for Entello as we strive to achieve continued improvement around our client services and product range.
Of particular interest to us is Dean’s experience in training-based organisations. It is a cornerstone of our philosophy that we believe training for our clients is essential to developing a sound direct investment portfolio tailored to specific circumstances and Dean’s knowledge in the area will be invaluable.
Dean will work with our existing team, me in my new role as Quality Assurance Manager and Chief Instructor and the Entello/NIFS Board. Senior staff members you will also be familiar with include our Investments Manager, Pedram Firooztash and Projects Manager Michael Costello, among others in our market analysis, administration and service provision areas.
Dean took up the CEO role in mid-May and over the coming months I am sure you will hear more from him as he takes up the management reins. I believe that Dean is a perfect match for our core values of integrity and performance and commend him to you with great sincerity.
